from the Sonata for Lute, Strings and Continuo RV 93

This is a transcription for four guitars of Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in D major from the Sonata for Lute, Strings, and Continuo RV 93.  The first guitar part is the solo guitar part that traditionally is accompanied by string orchestra.  The other three guitars play a transcribed version of the original string parts. 

This edition is designed for concert performance as well as for classroom instruction.  The score is presented with amply notated guitar fingerings for each of the four parts.  Also included are separate parts for each of the guitars.  Below is a You Tube video of the iconic Andante Largo, with the score scrolling as the music plays:
