GUITAR lessons with Jeffrey goodman
In 2018 I began to give private lessons over the internet to those who live outside of Los Angeles. It has been absolutely a pleasure and inspiration to meet and mentor aspiring guitarists from around the world. I plan to continue online teaching, and I am happy to invite guitarists at all levels, from beginning through advanced, to contact me and begin to explore the amazing world of guitar music together.
What You Will Need
Internet connection, via phone, desktop or tablet device.
Web camera.
Guitar, foot stool and music stand.
Areas to be covered, along with your specific goals, will include:
A full grounding in technique
Sight reading
Mastery of the fingerboard – technically and musically
Selected solo repertoire covering at least baroque through romantic periods as well as some basic flamenco
Memorizing
The art of practicing
The art of listening
How to plan and develop your guitar playing over the coming years
